Why Donate Your Corneas?

If you choose to donate your corneas after passing, you can help restore vision to patients suffering from various conditions, including:

• Diseases or injuries that cause clouding or distortion of the cornea, leading to vision loss.

• Corneal scarring following infections such as keratoconus (a thinning of the cornea that causes a cone-shaped bulge, often affecting young individuals).

• Age-related or genetic disorders that can lead to corneal clouding in older adults.

• Scars caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).

Currently, there is an insufficient supply of donated corneas to meet the needs of all those who require corneal transplants. You can help us change this.
